Anne Marie's Menu:
Starter: Curried zuchini with almonds.

Dry-aged ribeye served with
goat cheese and currry stuffed baby eggplants
dry stuffing
and creamed spinach.

Dessert: Carmelized bananas served with sugared grapes and vanilla cream. Hot chocolate served with marshmellows and peppermints.

Dinner Description: 

Hello! Thanks to those who made it to Ben's place last week and especially Ben for helping, hosting, and deejaying. My menu is below. As always, it was a pleasure cooking for you and I hope that you enjoyed eating the physical manifestation of my Vegas winnings.

As you may remember me mentioning last week, Supper Club is turning ONE this Saturday. Rather than having dinner on Thursday night as usual, we have a 5:00 Saturday dinner planned for January 31st, one year after our humble beginnings at 80 South Street. While only Dana, Jason, Edward, Chaz, Susan, and I remember the first scallops dinner, we have all benefited from the tradition and I hope that we can all be there to celebrate.

I can proudly report that out of 52 weeks, we have only missed seven weeks of Supper Club and have zero misses in the last six months. That's 45 dinners, about 23 chefs, 18 hosts, bartenders whose names and facial features escape our memories, families, friends, dogs cats, paper plates and linen napkins, on and on.

If you have not done so already, please RSVP by tomorrow (Tuesday). Lots of preparations are going into this week's dinner and we'll need the extra time with the headcount. See below for notes from Gina on one manner of preparations. If you are coming, and I hope that you are, please plan to arrive at 5:00 in order to enjoy the full program.
